Ray McGuire Delivers Harvard Business School Commencement Speech

On May 30, Ray McGuire, President of Lazard, was the Distinguished Speaker at Harvard Business School’s 2023 Class Day. Ray delivered the keynote address and was presented with an alumni achievement award.
During his 20-minute speech, Ray reflected on his childhood, his experiences studying at Harvard, his career in investment banking on Wall Street and provided advice to the graduate audience.
Ray received his M.B.A. and J.D. from Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School in 1984, and an A.B., cum laude, from Harvard College in 1979.
