Charles-Henry Gaultier joins Lazard as Managing Director

PARIS, 9 April 2018 – Lazard Ltd (NYSE: LAZ) announced today that Charles-Henry Gaultier will join the firm as a Managing Director in charge of Equity Capital Markets (ECM) advisory for France, effective June 2018.

Based in Paris, he will also support the firm’s ECM effort across Continental Europe. Mr. Gaultier most recently served as Head of ECM for France at Deutsche Bank.

Mr. Gaultier served as Head of Equity Capital Markets for France at Deutsche Bank since 2015. Previously, he served as Head of Benelux, France, Scandinavia and Switzerland ECM for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Paris from 2010 to 2015. He was Managing Director in charge of France, Benelux, Middle East and Portugal ECM at UBS from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, he served as Vice President/Director in charge of France and Benelux ECM at Credit Suisse in London from 2002 to 2005. He started his career as an analyst with Deutsche Bank in 1997, working in Paris and then in London. Mr. Gaultier graduated from l’Institut d’Etudes Politiques (IEP) Paris and holds a post-graduate degree in Applied Economics from IEP Paris and in State-owned companies from Universités de Paris IX-Dauphine and Paris Sud-Sceaux.
