Adam Handwerker
Managing Director
Adam Handwerker is a Managing Director in Lazard’s Private Capital Advisory team. Mr. Handwerker leads the origination, structuring, and execution of the group’s real asset capital raising, secondaries, and advisory assignments in North America.
Previously, Mr. Handwerker was a Managing Director of Rialto Capital Management, where he was responsible for capital raising and business development. Prior to joining Rialto, Mr. Handwerker was a Managing Director of Hodes Weill & Associates, where he was a founding member of the team and responsible for the origination, structuring, and project management of the firm’s institutional capital raising and advisory mandates globally.
Before joining Hodes Weill, Mr. Handwerker was part of Credit Suisse’s Real Estate Customized Fund Investment Group and Real Estate Private Fund Group. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, he worked for Ernst & Young in the Structured Finance Advisory Group. Mr. Handwerker holds a B.S. from Cornell University and a M.S. in Real Estate Finance from New York University.
