Bennett Monson
Managing Director
Bennett Monson is a Managing Director and Head of Industrial Software & Technology at Lazard.
Ben joined the firm in 2019 and has over two decades of experience advising private equity, corporate, and founder clients on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions.
Ben’s practice is focused on the confluence of digitization in industrial verticals, and he has extensive experience in control, IIoT, asset management, field service management, engineering & design, and automation software and systems.
Prior to joining Lazard, Ben led the industrial technology practice at Wells Fargo Securities and held positioned at Evercore, Piper Sandler, and Raymond James.
Ben received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, where he was a MacFarlane Scholar, and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service degree from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
Ben leads the Charlotte office for Lazard and serves on the Vestry of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.
