Brian McCabe
Managing Director
Brian re-joined Lazard in 2026 and is a Managing Director and Head of North American Energy in the Power, Energy & Infrastructure Group at Lazard in Houston, advising on strategic transactions across the energy landscape.
Prior to joining Lazard, Brian was a Managing Director and Head of Midstream and Downstream at J.P. Morgan, where he led the firm’s coverage of large-cap midstream and downstream clients. Previously, Brian had been Global Head of Energy at Credit Suisse and Head of Americas Oil & Gas at Morgan Stanley. Earlier in his career, Brian had been at Lazard, DLJ and Wasserstein Perella.
Brian and his wife, Elisabeth, live in Houston and have three children, May, Sadie and Owen.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
