Jean Greene
Managing Director

Jean Selden Greene is a Managing Director in the Industrials Group at Lazard with 29 years of investment banking experience.
Recent experience includes: advising Xylem on its sale of Sensus International to Aurelius, J.M. Huber on its sale of CP Kelco to Tate & Lyle, Kohler on the sale of Kohler Energy to Platinum Equity, Barnes on its sale of Associated Spring and Hanggi businesses to OEP and its acquisition of MB Aerospace, and Chart Industries on its acquisition of Howden and divestitures of Roots and Cofimco.
Prior to rejoining Lazard in November 2025, Jean was a Vice Chairman in the M&A group at Bank of America for six years, with a primary focus on industrial clients, responsible for enhancing coverage efforts within the diversified industrials and capital goods sectors. She joined Bank of America in 2019 after 20 years at Lazard. Before her earlier tenure at Lazard, Jean worked at Smith Barney focusing on financing and advisory assignments for oil and gas companies.
Jean serves on the Board of Directors of Dress For Success, a leading global nonprofit employment resource for unemployed and underemployed women, as well as on the Board of Trustees of Goodspeed Musicals, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and advancement of musical theater and the creation of new works.
Jean received her undergraduate degree with a double major in Economics and French from Wellesley College and an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
