Managing Director
Manoel Carvalho is a Managing Director in the Media, Entertainment & Sports Group at Lazard.
Manoel’s sports clients include teams and franchise owners, media companies, and investment funds. Manoel has represented numerous clients in the National Basketball League (NBA), Major League Baseball (MLB), Major League Soccer (MLS), La Liga, Ligue 1, among others.
Prior to joining Lazard, Manoel was a Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners, focusing on media, sports and entertainment. Previously, Manoel was at Rothschild, where he worked in the Technology, Media, and Telecom practice.
Manoel holds an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has a dual degree in Industrial Engineering and Business from Georgia Tech. Manoel is a dual citizen of Brazil and Italy.
