Matthew Schorr is a Director in Lazard's Healthcare investment banking group. Matt advises healthcare services and technology clients on M&A and other strategic assignments.

Matt is based in the firm's New York office and previously lived in London, where he was responsible for the firm’s European digital health coverage effort.

Before joining Lazard, Matt worked for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Armed Services, which oversees the U.S. Department of Defense and annually authorizes the U.S. defense budget, as well as Trellus Management Company, an alternative asset management firm in New York.

Matt serves on the board of Duke University's Freeman Center and on Duke's Young Alumni Development Council. Matt is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, and the National Committee on American Foreign Policy.
