Michael Gessner
Managing Director
Michael Gessner is a Managing Director and member of Lazard's Telecom & Digital Infrastructure group.
Mr. Gessner has extensive experience advising clients on transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, corporate carve-outs, equity raises, and debt recapitalizations. Mr. Gessner works with companies including data center operators, infrastructure services, residential and enterprise broadband, and wireless infrastructure. Mr. Gessner has also advised clients across technology, media, sports, aerospace & defense, and specialty distribution.
Prior to joining Lazard, Mr. Gessner spent four years at Harris Williams, an investment bank based in Richmond, VA, and four years at KPMG within its Advisory and Financial Audit Practices.
Mr. Gessner holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Miami University.
