Olivier Le Maire
Managing Director
Olivier Le Maire is Managing Director and Co-Head of LazardNext, the Corporate Finance team at Lazard in Paris dedicated to mid-market transactions.
Olivier has 15 years of investment banking experience for buy-side and sell-side M&A advisory. Transaction profiles typically include divestments and carve-outs from large corporates, family-owned businesses, and private equity houses.
Prior to joining Lazard in 2022, Olivier was Managing Director at Oddo BHF, where he advised on mid-market transactions. He developed a cross-expertise team including M&A and Private Wealth Management practices to increase cross-selling engagements.
From 2008 to 2018, he was manager and senior manager in the EY Corporate Finance team where he completed many small-cap M&A transactions. He became partner in 2016. In 2005 he joined the Transaction Advisory Services group at Ernst & Young and participated in buy-side engagements for the large PE houses of the Paris place. Olivier started his career in 2002 at Arthur Andersen in the Aerospace & Defense audit practice.
Olivier graduated from EDHEC business school and Pantheon-Sorbonne University.
