Philippe Englebert is a Director within Lazard's Paris office.
Philippe has 10 years of experience and joined Lazard in 2022, with a focus on tech M&A, fundraisings and IPOs.
Prior to joining Lazard, he was advisor for businesses, financial services, attractiveness and export to President E. Macron, and held other tech advisor positions to the French Government.
He started his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, before joining the French Treasury Department. In charge of equity financing and start-ups, Philippe Englebert was also the rapporteur of the mission led by P. Tibi on the financing of technology companies, and some years later he initiated its European equivalent "Scale-Up Europe" launched by the French President in 2021 with the support of the European Commission.
Philippe graduated from ESCP and Science Po.
