Sid Varshney
Director
Sid Varshney is a Director in Lazard’s Healthcare investment banking group. Sid works on a broad range of financial advisory assignments for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Sid’s transaction experience covers a wide range of strategic assignments including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, alliances, restructurings and special committee advisory. He has also been involved in capital raising for emerging biotechnology and diagnostic companies.
Prior to joining Lazard, Sid worked in Citigroup’s Healthcare investment banking division where he specialized in M&A as well as public and private capital raising. Previously, Sid was a Consultant at ZS Associates where he advised biopharmaceutical companies on a breadth of strategic topics including portfolio strategy, launch success and sales performance acceleration.
Sid has an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delhi (India).
