Stephen Salyer
Managing Director
Stephen is a Managing Director, the head of global distribution and co-head of the U.S. primary business in Lazard's Private Capital Advisory group.
With over two decades of private equity fundraising and investor relations experience, Stephen has cultivated strong, enduring relationships with key investors and sponsors across the United States. Over the course of his career, he has successfully worked on more than 300 fundraising assignments, raising over $100 billion.
Stephen’s prior experience includes a tenure at Atlantic-Pacific Capital, where he opened the New York office and, as a Partner, led U.S. distribution efforts. He also served as a Vice President at Probitas Partners, building further expertise in the private capital markets.
Stephen’s extensive background and exceptional track record are reflective of his unwavering commitment to delivering results for both investors and sponsors. His leadership continues to drive success at Lazard’s Private Capital Advisory group, offering dynamic solutions to clients worldwide.
Stephen holds a B.A. in Political Economics from Tulane University.
