Thomas Moatti
Director
Thomas Moatti is a Director of Lazard's Sovereign Advisory Group. He joined the firm in 2011. From 2011 to 2017, Thomas advised sovereign clients in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and the Euro Area with a strong focus on sovereign debt restructuring and macro-financial policy advisory. Thomas rejoined Lazard in 2022.
From 2019 to 2022, Thomas oversaw Special Situations at Pharo Management, a $12 billion global macro hedge fund specialized in emerging markets.
Thomas graduated from École des Ponts ParisTech and holds a Master of Economics from the École Normale Supérieure (ENS, Ulm). Additionally, Thomas holds a Master in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School (2019).
