Lazard Appoints Niul Wood as Managing Director in EMEA Industrials & Chemicals

LONDON, September 7, 2026 – Lazard today announced the appointment of Niul Wood who has re-joined the firm as Managing Director, Industrials, with a focus on Advanced Materials, Chemicals and Ingredients. He will be based in London.

Niul Wood brings more than 25 years of cross-border strategic M&A and financing advisory experience. His familiarity with Lazard and its clients makes him uniquely placed to enhance the firm’s strong product and sector capabilities across Europe.

He joins from Nomura, where he served as Managing Director and Head of Industrials & Chemicals for EMEA. He was previously at Credit Suisse and at Lazard.
