Shawn Saparamadu joins Lazard as a Managing Director in Industrials Group, Financial Advisory

Lazard Ltd (NYSE: LAZ) announced today that Shawn Saparamadu has joined the firm as a Managing Director in the Industrials Group within Financial Advisory

Based in New York, Mr. Saparamadu will play a key role in bolstering the firm’s coverage within diversified industrials, advising corporate and financial sponsor clients on M&A and capital market transactions

“Shawn is an established banker in the industrials space, with a broad coverage universe across large-cap diversified industrials, and a particular expertise in capital goods. He will add significant depth and breadth to our capabilities in this important and growing area of our advisory business,” said Mark McMaster, Global Head of M&A and Industrials at Lazard

Mr. Saparamadu joins Lazard from Evercore where he was a Managing Director focused on the industrial sector within its corporate advisory business. He previously served as Executive Director within the diversified industrials group at J.P. Morgan, which included three years based in Hong Kong providing M&A advice to clients across Asia Pacific. Mr. Saparamadu holds an M.B.A from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Michigan State University.
