Tom Howard joined Lazard in 2004 and is currently Managing Director and Co-Head of European Debt Advisory.
Tom has extensive expertise in relation to strategically critical, event-driven, or complex financing assignments across the credit risk spectrum. Tom has successfully advised on over EUR 100 billion of financing assignments across multiple jurisdictions on behalf of clients ranging across FTSE 100, FTSE 250, European or multi-national companies as well as numerous private or private equity-backed and infrastructure clients.
Tom has long-standing relationships with key decision-makers across the private and public credit market investor community providing clients a unique independent product insight and deep access to all debt capital pools.
Tom is skilled in complex creditor and stakeholder negotiations having advised on numerous covenant amendment/waivers and more fundamental balance sheet recapitalisations.
