Will Thompson
Managing Director
Will Thompson joined Lazard in 2024 as Managing Director, Healthcare Services, bringing with him almost 30 years of M&A experience.
With over two decades of experience dedicated to the healthcare sector, Will has established himself as one of the foremost advisers in European healthcare services. Throughout his career, Will has successfully led the origination and execution of numerous advisory mandates in the sector, closing over 100 M&A transactions.
Prior to joining Lazard, Will served as Head of European Healthcare Investment Banking at Barclays for 10 years. Previously, he was Managing Director in the healthcare practices of UBS, Close Brothers and Morgan Stanley.
Will is a graduate of Magdalene College, Cambridge, where he studied Natural Sciences.
