Amanda Dupuy Ugarte joins Lazard as Managing Director
NEW YORK, November 9, 2021 – Lazard Ltd (NYSE: LAZ) announced today that Amanda Dupuy Ugarte has joined Lazard’s Financial Advisory business as a Managing Director in the Private Capital Advisory Group, effective immediately. She is based in New York.
“Amanda is an experienced banker with deep knowledge in structuring and executing a broad spectrum of strategic GP-led secondary transactions,” said Holcombe Green, Global Head of Private Capital Advisory at Lazard. “We have known Amanda as an industry leader for many years and she will be a valuable addition to the private capital advisory team as we continue to grow our leading secondary advisory business.”
Prior to joining Lazard, Ms. Ugarte was a Managing Director at PJT Partners in the Park Hill secondary advisory group, which she joined in 2015, initially in the M&A business. Previously, she worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley since 2004. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Wellesley College and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
