Daniel Klima
Managing Director
Dan Klima joined Lazard in 2021 and is a Managing Director in the New York office where he is a member of Private Capital Advisory (“PCA”).
The Lazard PCA secondary advisory team both advises limited partners on liquidity solutions and portfolio management of commitments to alternative investments and advises GPs across the entire spectrum of secondary transaction alternatives, including single and multi-asset GP-led continuation vehicles, strip sales, tender offers, and other structured alternatives.
Dan is a member of the secondary advisory team, focusing his efforts on GP-led secondary transactions as well as leading the LP-led secondary transaction effort in North America.
Prior to joining Lazard PCA, Dan served most recently as a Principal in the New York office of Lexington Partners. Over the course of his 14+ year tenure, Dan was primarily tasked with the sourcing, evaluation, execution, and monitoring of secondary purchases of limited partnership interests of private equity funds as well as opportunistic GP-led investments, fund restructurings, and structured secondary opportunities.
Dan began his career in 2004 as an investment banking analyst in the New York office of Credit Suisse First Boston. Dan graduated from Georgetown University, McDonough School of Business with a BSBA in Finance and International Business, summa cum laude.
