Mr. George is a Senior Advisor in Lazard's Consumer Retail and Leisure Group. Mr. George has more than 40 years of experience in the investment banking industry and has advised numerous companies in recent years in the consumer, food, beverage, retail and health care sectors.

Mr. George is a member of the Board of Directors of Dole plc ("Dole"), the largest fresh produce company in the world. Also, Mr. George is the Non-Executive Chairman of Potomac Family Dining Group, a privately-held branded franchise restaurant company. Mr. George also served on the Board of Directors of Seminis, Inc., the largest developer, grower and marketer of fruit and vegetable seeds in the world.

Prior to joining Lazard, Mr. George was a Founding Partner of Greenhill & Co., LLC and a member of the Firm's Management Committee. At Greenhill, Mr. George headed the Firm's Consumer Products, Food and Beverage Group. Before joining Greenhill, he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley & Co., and head of Morgan Stanley's Global Food, Beverage and Consumer Products Group, which he founded in 1989. Mr. George's previous responsibilities at Morgan Stanley included heading origination for the Capital Markets Group, co-heading the Latin American Corporate Finance Group and heading Midwest investment banking coverage in Chicago. Prior to 1984, Mr. George was a Vice President of Goldman Sachs and an Assistant Treasurer of J.P. Morgan & Co.

Mr. George served on the Board of Trustees of The University of Chicago and was formerly a member of its Executive Committee and the Chairman of the Board's Financial Planning Committee. Also, he was a member of the Advisory Council of the Board of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Mr. George was formerly a member of the Board of Directors of the New York Philharmonic, a member of the Board's Executive Committee, Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee. Mr. George was formerly a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Ballet Theatre, the Nantucket Atheneum and the Nantucket Conservation Foundation. He is married with four children and he and his wife Cosby reside in Greenwich, Connecticut.
